Orillia’s Big Read

Old City Hall is this year’s Orillia’s Big Read selection, a unanimous choice by the Big Read Committee! The first novel by criminal lawyer Robert Rotenberg, OCH is the story of a murder, and all the twists and turns the investigation. With an insider’s eye, Rotenberg lays out the facts of a fictional case… it features a cast of diverse and surprising characters in Toronto’s courthouse, jail, offices, condos and bagel shops, with side-trips to Collingwood and Haliburton. And if that’s not enough, in Rotenberg’s world the Leafs have a winning season!

For those wanting more, there’s a sequel due out later this year. The Big Read Committee got a sneak peek at the first chapter of The Guilty Plea and we can’t wait to read the whole thing! We’ll let you know when it’s available.
