A HISTORY OF THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB

The Boys & Girls Club of Orillia is a unit of the Boys  & Girls Clubs of North Simcoe and part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada. 

This  national organization was established over 100 years ago. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada is "to provide a safe, supportive place where   children and youth can  experience new   opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive  relationships and develop confidence and skills for life."  

The Boys & Girls Club of Orillia began a P.A. Day    program in September 2008.  Over 200 children have registered and participated in a variety of activities including physical recreation, games, arts and crafts and field trips.

There are 100 Boys & Girls clubs located in 700 community service locations across Canada.
