Friends of the Orillia Public Library

The Friends of the Orillia Public Library is a not-for-profit Corporation and a registered Canadian charity. Membership is open to all who are interested in the Orillia Public Library and in advancing its purposes.

Housebound Patrons

The Housebound Service is a special library service for those people within the community who are "housebound" because of illness, age or disability and who live within Orillia.

Local Artists and art collections

View the art exhibition in the Reading Room at the Orillia Public Library. Paintings are done by local artists and rotated every 6 weeks.

There is also an impressive display of art adorning the walls in many other areas of the library too. Come in and have a walk around. See how many works you can name.

Volunteers of the Library

Volunteers are an important part of the Orillia Public Library. Last year our library volunteers gave more than 2,600 service hours!
