Early Literacy Computers in the Children's Department!

Children's Services has a new piece of technology that everyone is lining up to try! The only catch is that you have to be under the age of ten to use it. Children's Services now has an Early Literacy Computer in the department for families to use to highlight reading skills. The computer is designed for children ages 2 through 10 and it includes educational software in both English and French. It is so much fun that kids do not know that they are learning as they are playing. It also has some cool animal head-phones, and a touch screen that is easy to use for little fingers. You can listen to stories or make a masterpiece using its art software. It is a great way for children to learn and read!

Come into the Children's Department and ask a staff member to try it out!
