Doors Open at the OPL!
Saturday, May 24

11am & 12 noon:
Sing along to old favourites from World War One, with Orillia’s Jubilee Chorale in the Café area. Hear songs like “It’s A Long Way To Tipperary”, “Keep The Home Fires Burning”, and "Pack Up Your Troubles In Your Old Kit Bag”. Since 1958, the Jubilee Chorale has been entertaining audiences with a variety of music.

On memorials like Vimy Ridge and the Menin Gate, there are hundreds of names of fallen British Home Children who were brought to Canada and enlisted to fight for their new country. Many had no next of kin to whom their death would be reported. Find out their story and why the British Home Children Association wants them remembered.

All Day:
Look into the face of a person who lived during WWI. Follow the path of their life. Discover their fate.
Also, World War I displays and biographies.

All Doors Open events are drop-in.  Call 705-325-2338 for more information or email us.
