Again these are interesting views of Orillia in the early days.
Re: the picture “Orillia from the Lake”
C. H. Hale stated, “In the foreground is Delany’s boathouse at the foot of Coldwater Street, afterwards owned and operated by Thomas Bridgewater; in the foreground is Vick’s Flour Mill still in existence.”
On this page St. James Church, of course, has been replaced by the present structure. (See later reference) Asylum Point is now Couchiching Beach Park. (Reference has been made previously to this and the building erected thereon.)
