These are snapshots taken on the day of the first work on the C.P.R. line coming through Orillia about 1910.
The railway came along the waterfront on the outside of the Grand Trunk, later C.N.R., tracks and then took its right of way from the west side of Couchiching Beach Park.
These snapshots were taken by Mr. M. E. Grant, son of Charles Grant, Town Clerk.
