Teen Leadership Committee
The Orillia Public Library’s Teen Volunteer program is currently accepting applications for the Teen Leadership Committee (TLC). Applications for the 2026 Fall program are due by Friday, August 7th, 2026 at 5 p.m.
What is the Teen Leadership Committee (TLC)?
The TLC is an application based program with a limited number of accepted committee members. The TLC is a group of high school students that will meet monthly to:
- Learn Job-Related Skills
- Engage in Providing Feedback and Ideas
- Assist with Library Programs and Services
- Develop Community Connections
Who Can Apply?
Teens who are entering into Grades 9-12 and are looking to positively contribute to the goals and services of the Orillia Public Library. Teens can begin volunteering once they have graduated from Grade 8 and must be a current Orillia Public Library member. Don't have a membership? Find out how to get one. (Please note: We are only accepting teen volunteers within our service area.)
