Are you or somebody you know unable to visit the Library? Well let us bring the library to you!  We offer a free Visiting Library service for City of Orillia residents who cannot make it into the Library.  Roughly, once every four weeks, we will deliver a new bag of Library materials to you and pick up the Library materials that are ready to be returned.

Our Delivery Service is for those who cannot make it into the Library due to:

  • Long-term illness
  • Mobility issues
  • Physical disability
  • Visual disability

Library materials that can be borrowed include:

  • Regular print and large print books
  • Books on CD
  • DVDs
  • Music CDs

Library materials that cannot be borrowed include:

  • Fast-Track books
  • Fast-Track DVDs
  • Interlibrary loans
  • Books published within the past year
  • DVDs added to our collection within the past year

Library materials are selected either by:

  • Library staff, based on your reading interests, or
  • By requesting items through our online catalogue or by calling the Library at 705-325-2556.
