NOVEMBER DONATION DRIVE
This November, with your support, we’re transforming the Library’s Mezzanine into a refreshed and inspiring space for all to enjoy.
Our Artful Makeover will include:
-Cleaning cherished pieces from our art collection
-Repainting and repairing the Art Wall
-Updating furniture for a more welcoming gallery experience
-Unveiling a hidden gem — a stunning piece that has been in storage for many years!

New this year: Donations of over $1,000 will go on our new commemorative Donor Wall as part of the Artful Makeover. This special acknowledgment serves as a lasting tribute to the generosity and vision of our supporters. It’s a wonderful way to leave a legacy, showing your commitment to the arts and your community for years to come.
The Orillia Public Library is a registered charity and can provide you with a tax receipt for donations over $20. All donations are greatly appreciated.

In Memory Gift
Remember a loved one by making a donation in their name. If you wish, we can mail a special card to family members to let them know of your gift. Please note that the amount of the gift will be kept confidential.
In Honour Gift
Give a donation in someone’s name to celebrate life’s happy occasions. Anniversaries, birthdays, holidays – whatever the occasion, give a donation as a gift. If you wish, we can mail a special card to the honoree to let them know of your gift. Please note that the amount of the gift will be kept confidential.
A Gift In Your Will
A gift to the Orillia Public Library in your will can make a difference, no matter how large or small the amount. If you already have a will, you can add an addendum, called a codicil. Donate Securities
Donating your securities or mutual funds to Orillia Public Library is simple and easy. Our trusted partner, Canada Helps, will process the donation of your security on our behalf. A donation of securities will eliminate capital gains tax that you would have to pay if you sold the securities and then donated the proceeds. You will also receive a charitable tax receipt for the full fair market value of the donation.
