OCTOBER

Halloween Perler Bead Party: Thursday, October 17

Make melted monsters, pressed pumpkins, and more at our Halloween Perler Bead Party!  Meet on the 2nd floor, near the YA collection, from 6-7 p.m. to participate.

VolunTEENS: Wednesday, October 23

Are looking for a low commitment way to earn Community Involvement Hours at the Orillia Public Library?  Then VolunTEENs is the perfect program for you!  Each month we will have a registered workshop and/or presentation that you can attend and learn how to make a difference in your community!

This month is Remembrance Day Preparation on Wednesday, October 23 from 3-4:30 p.m.  Want to learn what goes into the Orillia Public Library's Remembrance Day Event and earn Community Involvement hours?  Join us to hear about the event, the collectors, displays, and assist in preparing for this year's exhibit.  Registration required.  Meet in Library Program Room 2. 

Escape Room in a Box: Thursday, October 24

Solve riddles, crack codes, and work together to complete an Escape Room in a Box!  Meet on the 2nd floor, near the YA collection, from 6-7 p.m. to help us escape!

NOVEMBER

Teen Makerspace Night: Thursday, November 14

Unleash your inner artist at our Watercolour Paint Party!  Let's learn new techniques, make new friends and enjoy snacks from 6-7 p.m. in the Makerspace (2nd Floor); no registration is required.!  Supplies are first come, first serve.  

VolunTEENS: Wednesday, November 27

This month is Crafting for Critters with the Ontario SPCA on Wednesday, November 27 from 3-4:30 p.m.  Calling all teen crafters and animal lovers! Sign up to help us create toys to donate to our furry friends at the Orillia Animal Centre!  Registration is required.  Meet in Library Program Room 2.
